Romance manga can make your heart race with their cuteness and fluffiness as you find yourself wanting more and more. But, it can be a little bit frustrating when the manga takes dozens of chapters for the main characters to even confess their feelings and start dating.
So, I’m going to share with you some good manga where the main characters start dating early in the story. Instead of focusing on how they got together, these manga focus more on their relationship after they start dating which leaves plenty of time for relationship development.
1. Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku
Narumi has always had bad luck when it comes to boyfriends. Every boyfriend she’s ever had broke up with her after finding out she’s an otaku. Now, she goes to great lengths to hide her hobby.
Her secret almost got revealed when she runs into her childhood friend Hirotaka at her new job. Hirotaka is also an otaku but he’s more into games than manga and anime. She asks him to make sure her secret doesn’t get out, but he comes up with another proposal: Why don’t you just date someone who’s okay with you being an otaku? Like Me?
This one’s a really popular romance manga that you might’ve already heard of unless you’re new to the romance genre. Definitely give it a try. It’s one of my favorite Josei manga.

2. Will You Marry Me Again if You Are Reborn?
Ever since he was a kid, Toranosuke has loved his servant Kaoru, but he never had the guts to confess, until one day, when Kaoru was arranged to marry another man. After he confessed, they slowly built a healthy relationship.
Years later, the couple has gotten old and Toranosuke is in hospital living his last months or days. So, the couple begins to reminisce about their younger days and all the time they spent together.

This one’s another great manga with a pretty popular anime you might already know of.
Hori Kyouko has never had time to hang out with her friends as her parents are always busy with work and she’s the one responsible for taking care of the house and her little brother.
One day, after her brother falls down and hurts himself, one of her classmates Miyamura helps him and brings him to her house. But, the Miyamura in front of her is nothing like he is in school.
In school, everyone thinks of him as a gloomy otaku, but he actually has all kinds of tattoos and piercings. So, their friendship starts which soon turns into something more.
4. My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999
This one was recently adapted into an anime, so, you can choose either the manga or the anime, whichever one you prefer. It’s about a heartbroken kind girl and an oblivious boy who’s only interested in games.
Akane started playing an online game called Forest of Savior just because her boyfriend liked it. But, her boyfriend dumps her after falling in love with a girl he met in the game. Despite her broken heart, she logs into the game one last time and ends up venting out her anger at a player named Yamada.
She attends a gaming convention hoping to make her ex jealous and runs into Yamada, who turns out to be a really popular and handsome guy in real life. After getting drunk, she wakes up in his bed.
5. Ase to Sekken
Yae got her dream job at Lilia Drop, one of the biggest manufacturers of women’s cosmetics. The reason she loves this company is because of her slightly more sweaty body than the average which leaves a body odor she’s ashamed of and the company’s products are the only thing that can help mask it.
One day, she catches the attention of Naroti Koutarou, the man behind all the products she uses. Out of nowhere, he asks to smell her. He intends to use her unique smell to create a new product and for that, he needs to smell her!!

Dahlia Academy is a prestigious school for the rich and talented attended by students from the enemy nations, the eastern Nation of Touwa, and the Principality of West.
