25 Best Gintama Quotes by Gintoki Sakata
About 4 years ago, I was first introduced to Gintama and its protagonist Sakata Gintoki when I was looking for a comedy anime to watch, soon enough, it was at the top of my favorite anime list along with many other epics of JUMP like Naruto and One Piece.
Gintama is one of the best comedy anime you will ever find but it offers much more than its amazingly witty humor. The latter part of the anime features pure, unadulterated shounen with crazy fighting scenes and a great storyline that will make you laugh and cry at the same time.
The story is set after the various alien races invaded Earth and a huge war broke out that resulted in the loss of humanity. Now, Gintoki, a former samurai who fought in the war and lost many of his comrades, works as an odd-job man. He’ll do any odd job for money. He may have changed his profession but the samurai inside him is still alive.
Though Gintoki is an ideology of laziness, he’s a selfless man who would always protect his loved ones. He’s funny and chaotic as heck, making him probably one of the best Shonen MCs out there.
Today, we’re going to look at the 25 Best Quotes by Gintoki Sakata from the Gintama anime and manga series.
